You're standing at Duart Castle, on a rocky crag on the east coast of the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Have a look around. Three stretches of water meet right here: the Sound of Mull, Loch Linnhe and the Firth of Lorne. Whoever held this spot could watch every passing ship. That's why Duart was one of a string of castles guarding the Sound.
