Castle Baba Vida in Vidin

You're standing at Baba Vida, the medieval castle of Vidin in northwestern Bulgaria. It's the town's main landmark. It's also the only medieval castle in Bulgaria that has survived completely intact. Take a look at the walls. There are two rings of them, one inside the other, with about nine towers. Three of those towers still stand at their full medieval height, with their original battlements on top.
