You're standing at Villa Jovis, high on Monte Tiberio, in the far northeastern corner of Capri. At 334 metres, this is the island's second-highest peak. Only Monte Solaro, over in Anacapri, is taller. The name means Villa of Jupiter, after a large statue of the king of the Roman gods that once stood at the entrance.
