You're standing at Kolossi Castle, on the south-west edge of the village of Kolossi, about fourteen kilometres west of Limassol. Take a look at that sturdy square tower in front of you. That's the keep, the heart of the castle. It rises twenty-one metres and measures seventeen by seventeen metres. Next to it lies a walled enclosure of roughly thirty by forty metres.
