You're standing at the Stones of Mora, on Mora Meadow in Lagga, about ten kilometres south-east of Uppsala. It looks quiet and rural, but this was once one of the most important places in Sweden. In the Middle Ages, this is where Swedish kings were elected and proclaimed.
