Marko's Towers in Prilep

You're standing at Markovi Kuli, Marko's Towers, on a hill on the northwest side of Prilep. Below you lies the neighbourhood of Varoš. Take a look at the slopes around you. They're steep and covered in tiny granite stones. No wonder people came up here looking for safety for so long. You can reach the upper part of the old settlement from both the north and the south.
