Je staat in Sadak, een klein dorp in een dal tussen de bergen, in het oosten van Turkije. Hier lag ooit Satala, een Romeinse legerplaats aan de uiterste rand van het rijk. Kijk eens om je heen. Precies hier kruiste de oude weg van Trapezus naar Samosata de grens van het Romeinse Rijk.
