You're standing at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Panevėžys, the main church of the Diocese of Panevėžys. Start with the façade. A single square tower dominates it, topped with a little octagonal dome. The style is a mix of Baroque and Neoclassicism. See the two big statues on the corners of the roof? They're three metres tall. They show Pope Pius XI and Bishop Jurgis Matulevičius, the founders of the diocese. Above the entrance, the pediment carries a royal crown, with the bishop's coat of arms beneath it.
