You're standing at Sées Cathedral, a Gothic cathedral in the heart of Normandy. Start with the west front. Two slender towers with openwork spires rise about seventy metres into the sky. Notice the heavy buttresses sticking out in front of the façade? Not everyone loved them. An old English encyclopedia even said they disfigured the front. See what you think.
