You're standing at Şarhöyük, a mound just outside Eskişehir. It may not look like much, but beneath your feet lies the ancient city of Dorylaion. This hill wasn't made by nature. It grew layer by layer, as people kept building on top of the remains of those who came before them, for thousands of years.
