You're standing at Casa Botines, right in the heart of León. Take a look at the whole building first. With those corner towers and that steep roof, it looks like a little medieval castle. Yet it only went up in 1892, and the architect was none other than Antoni Gaudí. He wanted to pay tribute to León's famous old buildings, so he deliberately gave this one a neo-Gothic look.
