You're standing by Luleå Cathedral, the seat of the Diocese of Luleå, right in the heart of town. Start by looking up at the tower. It rises more than sixty metres and stands well above the rooftops around it. The church is shaped like a cross, fifty-four metres long and thirty-five metres wide, and with its pointed forms it's a proper piece of Gothic Revival.
