You're standing at Albrecht Dürer's House, tucked into the far north-west corner of Nuremberg's old town. Right above you is the Imperial Castle, and just a few steps away you'll spot the Tiergärtnertor, one of the gates in the city wall. This was the home of Albrecht Dürer, the most famous artist of the German Renaissance. He lived here from 1509 until his death in 1528.
