You're standing at the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, not far from Madrid. Take a look at the façade. Red brick with white limestone, two floors, and in the middle a taller section bearing the coat of arms of Ferdinand the Sixth. On either side are Latin inscriptions. Together they say that Philip the Second started it, Philip the Fifth carried it on, and Ferdinand the Sixth finished it in 1752. Statues of all three stand on the ledge above the entrance.
