Kastel fortress in City of Banja Luka

You're standing at Kastel, the fortress right in the centre of Banja Luka, on the left bank of the Vrbas river. Take a good look at the walls. They're built from rectangular cut stone, stacked in all sorts of ways and held together with mortar. Along the walls you'll spot three rectangular towers, half tucked into the masonry.
