You're standing at the Gothenburg Botanical Garden, one of the larger botanical gardens in Europe. The street by the main entrance is called Carl Skottsbergs gata. It's named after the garden's first director. Skottsberg was a botanist and explorer who even went to Antarctica. He travelled the globe collecting rare plants for this very garden.
