Ram Fortress in Veliko Gradiste Municipality

You're standing at Ram Fortress, high on a rock above the right bank of the Danube in eastern Serbia. Start by looking at the river. Here the Danube is about five kilometres wide, wider than almost anywhere else. Straight across, the Karaš and Nera rivers flow in. That broad, marshy area on the far side is Labudovo okno, a protected wetland of international importance. Come towards evening and you'll see why people call this the most beautiful Danube sunset.
