You're standing at Schwerin Cathedral. Look up, and then keep looking up. The tower is 117.5 metres tall, the highest church spire in the whole state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. See how the eight-sided spire rises between four pointed gables? It looks medieval, but this tower is surprisingly young. It was only built between 1889 and 1893.
