Cyme in Aliağa

You're standing at Cyme, or Kyme, once the largest and most important of the twelve Greek cities of Aeolis, on the coast of what is now Turkey. Take a look around at the hills and out towards the sea. This was a harbour town that, according to the ancient Greeks, was founded by an Amazon, a warrior woman named Kyme.
