You're standing at Amiens Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in France. Inside, it holds about twice the volume of Notre-Dame in Paris. Start with the west front. You'll see three portals, above them galleries with a row of kings, and then the great rose window. Notice anything about the towers? They're neither the same height nor the same age. One is early Gothic, the other later and far more richly decorated.
