You're standing at Castlerigg, a stone circle on a hill just east of Keswick, right in the heart of the Lake District. First, turn around slowly. The fells around you form a natural amphitheatre, and you're right in the middle of it. From here you can see some of Cumbria's highest peaks: Helvellyn, Skiddaw, Grasmoor and Blencathra. The nearby land drops out of sight, leaving only those distant mountains on the horizon.
