You're standing at the Teatro Regio, Parma's opera house. Start with the façade. At street level there's a row of ten granite Ionic columns forming a covered arcade. Above them sit five large windows, and right at the top a semicircular window under a triangular pediment. Look for the reliefs by sculptor Tommaso Bandini, showing muses around a lyre. That calm, classical front has stayed exactly the same since it was built.
