You're standing by Silbury Hill in the English county of Wiltshire, not far from Avebury. That green hill in front of you isn't natural. People built it in the Stone Age, from chalk and clay dug up nearby. At 39.3 metres, it's the tallest prehistoric man-made mound in Europe, and in volume it's similar to the Egyptian pyramids of the same era.
