Great Inn in Lefkoşa

You're standing at Büyük Han, the Great Inn, in the northern part of Nicosia. It's the largest caravanserai on Cyprus, and many people call it one of the finest buildings on the island. Take a look at the rooftops. See those little stone chimneys with six or eight sides? Every room had its own fireplace. One British scholar found them so unusual that he wondered if they came from a medieval building that once stood here.
