You're standing at Dolwyddelan Castle, or Castell Dolwyddelan in Welsh. It sits on a small knoll in the Lledr valley in North Wales. Start with that sturdy rectangular tower on the east side. That's the keep, the oldest part of the castle. On the west side are the remains of a second tower. Walls of local stone and slate join the two into a roughly circular enclosure.
