You're standing at the Museo de Málaga, the biggest museum in Andalusia and the fifth biggest in all of Spain. It's housed in the Palacio de la Aduana, a grand building whose name comes from the customs office. The museum only properly opened to the public here in December 2016. Before that, the building was mostly used for temporary exhibitions.
