Generalife in Granada

You're standing at the Generalife, the summer palace of the Nasrid rulers of Granada. It sits on the hillside just east of the Alhambra, a little higher up. This is where the rulers and their families came to unwind, away from the official business going on down in the Alhambra. It was a country retreat and a working farm at the same time, with orchards and vegetable gardens.
