You're standing on the summit of Velká Javořina, or Veľká Javorina as the Slovaks call it. At 970 metres, this is the highest point of the White Carpathians. The border between the Czech Republic and Slovakia runs right along this broad, flat ridge. The very top sits just on the Slovak side.
