Illiric's Kings Tombs in Bashkia Pogradec

You're standing at the royal tombs of Selca e Poshtme, right by the village of Selcë e Poshtme, not far from Pogradec. You're about 1040 metres up here, on the right bank of the Shkumbin river. Above you there was once a city, most likely ancient Pelion. Look at the rock face below the acropolis. That's where the tombs were carved, in the fourth and third centuries BC, when Illyrian kings lived here.
