Borgholms slottsruin

You're standing at Borgholm Castle, on the Swedish island of Öland. Or rather, at what's left of it. Take a look at those huge stone walls with no roof. It looks like a fairytale castle, but one that's been through a real disaster. That disaster was a fire, on 14 October 1806. It started in the roof of the north wing, and when it was over, only the walls were still standing.
