Museum Maribor Synagogue

You're standing on Židovska ulica, Jewish Street, in Maribor. In the Middle Ages this was the heart of the city's Jewish ghetto. The building in front of you is the old synagogue, and it has quite a story. It's one of the oldest surviving synagogues in Europe, and one of only two left in Slovenia. The other one is in Lendava.
