You're standing at Lake Rāzna, in the east of Latvia. Take a look across the water. This is the biggest lake in the country, at least when you measure how much water it holds. By surface area, only Lake Lubāns is larger. Still, this is no pond: the lake covers nearly fifty-eight square kilometres. It's so big that it's shared between three parishes, Kaunata, Mākoņkalns and Čornaja.
