Magisterial Church of Sts Just and Pastor in Alcalá de Henares

You're standing at the Cathedral of the Holy Children Justus and Pastor in Alcalá de Henares. Yes, children. Tradition says two young martyrs died here, and there has been a church on this spot for a very long time. Start with the west front. The doorway is late Gothic, full of flowing, flame-like stonework. In the middle you'll spot a medallion showing Saint Ildefonsus. The rest of the outside is plain, almost stern.
