You're standing at Sillyon, an ancient city and fortress perched on a rocky plateau in old Pamphylia, on Turkey's southern coast. Locally it's known as Yanköy Hisarı or Asar Köy. Take a look around. The ruins here come from many different eras: Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and, in part, Seljuk.
