You're standing in the Todgha Gorge, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, close to the town of Tinghir. Go ahead and look up. Bare, smooth rock walls rise on both sides, so steep you'll strain your neck. In some spots along these canyons, the walls reach up to four hundred metres.
