You're standing at Vintgar Gorge, about four kilometres northwest of Bled, right on the edge of Triglav National Park. Listen for a second. That rushing sound is the Radovna River, the one that carved this gorge. For 1.6 kilometres the water squeezes its way between two hills, Hom and Boršt. The rock walls shoot up fifty to a hundred metres on either side.
