Museum Schloß Hartheim in Alkoven

You're standing at Schloss Hartheim in Alkoven, about fourteen kilometres from Linz. Take a look at the building first. Four wings around a courtyard, a many-sided tower on each corner, and a taller tower rising from the middle. It's a textbook example of what people in the Renaissance thought the ideal castle should look like. It sits in the flat Eferding Basin, along the Danube.
