You're standing at the Skalnaté pleso Observatory, high up in the High Tatras of Slovakia. You're at 1,786 metres here, on the south-eastern slope of Lomnický štít, above the village of Tatranská Lomnica. Take a look around. The observatory is named after the little mountain lake nearby. Skalnaté pleso roughly means 'Rocky Tarn'.
