You're standing at the Roman walls of Lugo, in Galicia in Spain. These walls are more than seventeen hundred years old and still largely intact. They run for about 2,120 metres right around the historic centre. UNESCO calls them the finest example of late Roman fortifications in western Europe, and since 2000 they've been a World Heritage Site.
