The White Horse in Vale of White Horse

You're standing on White Horse Hill, high above the Vale of White Horse in Oxfordshire. Somewhere on this slope lies the oldest hill figure in Britain: a white horse more than a hundred metres long. Up close, you mostly see white strips in the grass. The horse is so big and so slender that you really only see it properly from the air, or from far away across the valley.
