You're standing at Château Margaux, one of the most famous wine estates in the world. Take a look at the pale, stately house among the vines. It was built in the early nineteenth century in the crisp First Empire style, designed by Louis Combes, one of Bordeaux's leading architects. No wonder people sometimes call it the Versailles of the Médoc.
