You're standing at what's left of Cluny Abbey. At first glance it doesn't look like much, and honestly, it isn't. But look at that tall tower. It belongs to a fragment of the transept of what was once the largest church in the world. Only when the present St Peter's was built in Rome did Cluny lose that title.
