Vischering Castle in Lüdinghausen

You're standing at Vischering Castle, on the northern edge of Lüdinghausen. If you ever pictured a moated castle as a kid, this is pretty much it. Look at the sandstone walls and the red tiled roofs, and especially at how they mirror in the water. That water isn't just decoration. The castle sits inside a double moat, constantly topped up by a side arm of the little River Stever.
