The story

You're standing in the historic centre of Sighișoara, the medieval citadel of this Romanian town. Saxon settlers started building here in the twelfth century. And here's the nice part: this isn't an empty film set. People still live inside these old walls. Since 1999 the citadel has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a record of some 850 years of Transylvanian Saxon history and culture.
