You're standing at the Technik Museum Sinsheim, right next to the A6 motorway. Take a look up at the roof. Up there are two planes that once carried passengers faster than the speed of sound: the Russian Tupolev Tu-144 and the French Concorde. This is the only place in the world where you can see both together. The Tu-144 arrived in 2000 after a journey of around four thousand kilometres, and it has sat on the roof of hall 2 since 2001. The Concorde joined it in 2004. Air France had handed it over a year earlier for a symbolic price of one euro.
