You're standing at Fogelsangh State in Veenklooster, in the north-east of Friesland. The house with its neat, symmetrical front is the heart of an estate of a hundred and eighty hectares. Look at the two lower buildings on either side, too. They were added during a major rebuilding at the end of the eighteenth century.
