You're standing at the Tower of Hercules, on a peninsula a couple of kilometres outside the centre of A Coruña, with the Atlantic Ocean in front of you. This lighthouse is Roman, built in the late first century. It's the only fully preserved Roman lighthouse that still guides ships today. Since 2009 it has been a World Heritage Site.
