You're standing at Jasna Góra Monastery in Częstochowa. The name means Bright, or Luminous, Mountain. This is one of Poland's great places of pilgrimage, and at its heart is a single painting: the Black Madonna of Częstochowa. Start by looking at the walls and bastions around the complex. Those fortifications were built between 1620 and 1623.
