You're standing at the Bauhaus Building in Dessau, for many people the ultimate icon of modern architecture. Take a look around. This complex has no real front. Walter Gropius designed it in 1925 as five parts, each with its own job, joined into one whole. So you can simply walk around it, and every side shows you a different building.
